Why not read the very honest review for our bell tents at Burnham Breck, written by the very lovely Jo Gardner from Muddy Norfolk.
Just a stone’s throw away from the picturesque North Norfolk coast and its’ many beautiful beaches, the Burnham Breck camp is just a 5 minute walk from Burnham Market. In its second year and run by volunteers (including me) this campsite is truly something special. The vibrant yet traditional village of Burnham Market offers the perfect place to shop, eat, drink and explore. Many of its’shops have been around for generations and as well as there being plenty of places to choose from to eat in, you’ll find everything from galleries to beauty salons and book shops to specialty shops.
Whether you prefer to do a bit of celeb spotting in the famous village or bird-watching on the coastline, The Burnham Breck camp offers everything you need for a truly unique wild camping experience. With a communal fire pit to sing songs around and an open field for the children, its a great place to play games and feel that freedom that we all need, from time to time.
You’ll find our bell tents on the main campsite with spectacular country views, and with toilets and 2 outside gas showers, the Burnham Breck camp offers the perfect balance of luxury camping with an authentic taste of what it’s like to stay in the wild and welcoming countryside. This site is unmanned, but Jonathon (committee member) who lives at the bottom of the field, is always there if you need him.
The piece de resistance of any glamping trip is the tent itself, so you’ll enjoy a beautifully furnished canvas bell tent, soft colourful rugs, wooden table, 4 single air beds with fitted sheets (2 more single airbeds can be hired for an extra £10 each), a charged air bed pump, 2 lanterns, 1 torch, oh and some pretty bunting to further brighten up your new temporary home in the country.
Sleeping bag sets are available to hire for £20 each.
A 5 metre (sleeps 4) Friday to Monday = £150.
Campsites fees: £10 per adult per night, children under the age of 12 are £5 per night and dogs are £10 each per night.
Plus a refundable damage deposit of £100 per tent.
We’ve tried to think of everything you’ll need to make the most of your glamping experience but there are a few things you need to bring along such as your own duvets, pillows, towels, toiletries and wellies. You’ll need something to sit on, a good book to read and whatever games or party pieces you like.

The 3D farm themed adventure area allows children of 4-12 to scale dizzy heights, scrambling up a water tower and creepy climber tower with 3D rock face, before racing back down to the farmyard on giant spiral slides, twin lane astra slides or, if they dare, the adrenaline packed racing slide!
