Whitehall Farm – Burnham Thorpe

Glamping on the North Norfolk coast with 2posh2pitch

Whitehall Farm

Our glamping site lies within an area designated as an area of outstanding beauty, and if that’s not enough, Whitehall Farm is a real working family farm within the grand, 6,100 hectare Holkham Estate. Just 10 minutes’ drive from the North Norfolk coastline and situated in the beautiful countryside. We know how important it is for you to bring your pets on holiday with you, so bring them along too. But please just let us know how many you will be bringing and what breed when you book.

The traditional village of Burnham Market – often also referred to as Little Chelsea-on-Sea thanks to its trendy boutiques and antique shops that are reminiscent of Chelsea’s King’s Road – is a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute drive (2 miles) from the campsite. As well as the King’s Road kind of shops, you’ll find delis, restaurants, pubs, garage, spa, coffee bars, clothes shops and more.

Only open from July 30th – August 28th

Why not read the very honest review for our bell tents at Burnham Breck, written by the very lovely Jo Gardner from Muddy Norfolk.

Burnham Breck

Just a stone’s throw away from the picturesque North Norfolk coast and its’ many beautiful beaches, the Burnham Breck camp is just a 5 minute walk from Burnham Market. In its second year and run by volunteers (including me) this campsite is truly something special. The vibrant yet traditional village of Burnham Market offers the perfect place to shop, eat, drink and explore. Many of its’shops have been around for generations and as well as there being plenty of places to choose from to eat in, you’ll find everything from galleries to beauty salons and book shops to speciality shops.

Whether you prefer to do a bit of celeb spotting in the famous village or bird-watching on the coastline, The Burnham Breck camp offers everything you need for a truly unique wild camping experience. With a communal fire pit to sing songs around and an open field for the children, it’s a great place to play games and feel that freedom that we all need, from time to time.
You’ll find our bell tents on the main campsite with spectacular country views, and with toilets and 2 outside gas showers, the Burnham Breck camp offers the perfect balance of luxury camping with an authentic taste of what it’s like to stay in the wild and welcoming countryside. This site doesn’t have electric and is unmanned, but Jonathon (committee member) who lives at the bottom of the field, is always there if you need him.
